PrivacyStar , is a service launched just at the end of last year by First Orion that is best described as a BlackBerry call blocker on steroids. Web Based Version Of Gowalla Coming To BlackBerry

According to @JW , a.k.a., Josh Williams, founder and CEO of Gowalla , a location based travel game similar to FourSquare, a web based version of the application/game is coming to the BlackBerry. Earlier today Josh Williams tweeted, “Oh wow.  I just checked in from a BlackBerry Bold.  BB users are going to be happy about this update to Mobile Web when it rolls.” Gowalla is also working on a web client for Android, however, the version will have the benefit of HTML 5.  It will be interesting to see what Gowalla can pull of in the BlackBerry Browser. Google’s Got A Plan For Overcoming Android’s App Storage Limit… Does RIM Have One For BlackBerry?

I read an interesting post over on Engadget Mobile today about how Google has a plan to overcome Android’s 256 MB application storage limit.  BlackBerry users are all too familiar with having virtually unlimited storage for media on removable micro SD cards but very little memory, 128 MB or less on most BlackBerry devices, to actually store and run applications from. The issue isn’t quite as dire for Android users as it is for BlackBerry users.  Only core application files need to reside within internal memory in Android.  The BlackBerry, however, requires that entire applications be installed to internal memory. Why does all this matter?

Are These The First Tweets From The Official Twitter For BlackBerry Client?

There have been rumors of a native Twitter for BlackBerry client floating around for some time now.  We haven’t heard much about it lately, however, CrackBerry.com has come across  what possibly could be the first recognized tweets from the Twitter for BlackBerry client being worked on by Research in Motion. In the image above note that each of these tweets comes from an application named Twitter for BlackBerry .  Clicking on the application name takes you to http://blackberry.com/twitter.  This page currently lands you on a 404 page, however, on can envision that being the url for an official Twitter for BlackBerry client once released.
