Twitter for BlackBerry , which is still in closed beta, has been updated to version 1.0.0.37 and leaked online.  BBTweeps has list OTA download links for: OTA for OS 5.0.0 OTA for OS 4.7.1 OTA for OS 4.7.0 OTA for OS 4.6.0 OTA for OS 4.5.0 I’ve just installed Twitter for BlackBerry v1.0.0.37 myself and haven’t had but a few minutes to play with it, however, it does seem to be a bit faster and it looks like the @mentions screen is now cached. I installed the new upgraded Blackberry 5.0 OS on my Storm 1 and WOW… what a difference.  Typing on the Storm is now way easier and with fewer mistakes.  The OS seems to be much faster and the look and feel overall is a much needed improvement.   So if you have not upgraded to the NEW 5.0 OS I would suggest you do so.

To get the new OS all you have to do is plug your Blackberry to your Laptop or PC and start the Blackberry desktop and it will search for the latest updates and OS and it should have the option to load the new 5.0 OS.
