Alltel has just realeased the BlackBerry Curve 8530. It’s only $39.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and the really cool part of this deal is that you only have to sign up to a one-year contract. If you are one of the few still left on Alltel, this is a great deal at a great price.
Slacker Radio is now available in Canada . You can read the press release that we picked up off CrackBerry.com after the jump. Down here in the States we have Slacker Radio which is completely free, and Slacker Plus, which is a premium service with a monthly subscription. What we aren’t completely clear on is if the basic free version of Slacker is free in Canada as well. The press release, which is a bit confusing, says that Slacker is free BlackBerry app available via www.slacker.com . Later it states that Slacker is only free for the first 30 days. Slacker Radio Now Available in Canada Canadian Music Fans Can Now Enjoy Slacker Personal Radio Wherever They Happen to Be SAN DIEGO, CA – January xx, 2010 – Slacker, Inc.

The Verizon BlackBerry Curve 8530 is now available. You can pick the device up for $99.99 after a $100 instant rebate. Something tells me that the Curve 8530 is going to a pretty big hit for Verizon. It is the second BlackBerry to support OpenGL ES (3D graphics), and the price point is very attractive. The BlackBerry Curve 8530 is also the first Verizon BlackBerry with the optical trackpad. No more trackball issues like its predecessor
Research in Motion and Verizon Wireless officially announced the BlackBerry Curve 8530 . The device will be available November 20th and will cost $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a 2-year activation. My guess is that the new BlackBerry Curve will pick up right where the old BlackBerry Curve left off and become a big seller for Verizon. The big new feature in the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is most definitely the Wi-Fi and this device will be the first full QWERTY BlackBerry with Wi-Fi on Verizon’s network. For some strange reason RIM decided not to include a LED flash to go along with the digital camera, although it is only 2.0 mega pixels and probably really doesn’t matter that much.
