HootBerry Is On The Way: HootSuite Twitter Client Coming To The BlackBerry


According to the HootSuite webpage , BlackBerry users can “‘almost rejoice”.  HootSuite for BlackBerry , or, HootBerry as it is often referred to, is almost ready for beta. HootSuite is a browser based Twitter client insanely popular with iPhone users.  BlackBerry users have been asking for a HootBerry client for some time and it looks like there wish is about to come true.

How Am I Billed For Skype Mobile? — Verizon Breaks It Down


One of the top questions that Verizon customers have about Skype Mobile is, “ How am I billed for Skype Mobile ?”  Verizon has created a Skype Mobile FAQ that answers this question and more. While there are no monthly subscription fees for Skype mobile, Skype mobile is currently only available on select BlackBerry and Android 3G Smartphones with a data feature starting at $29.99. This chart breaks down billing for Skype Mobile, however, to make a long story short, you can make and receive unlimited Skype to Skype calls, Skype to International numbers use your Skype minutes, and Skype to domestic numbers use your regular Verizon minutes.

We’ve known for over a month now that Skype Mobile was coming to Verizon smartphones…  We just didn’t know that date.  Well, now we do.  Skype Mobile will be landing on Verizon Android and BlackBerry devices Thursday, March 25th. Today at CTIA 2010, CrackBerry Kevin found out that the official Twitter for BlackBerry client will launch next Wednesday, March 31st.  Twitter for BlackBerry has been in a “closed” beta for over a month, although you could easily find a leaked version online if you looked hard enough. RIM Launches BlackBerry Clients For Lotus Quickr And Lotus Connections


Today at Lotusphere 2010 Research in Motion launched two new BlackBerry applications, one for IBM Lotus Quickr and one for IBM Lotus Connections, that will allow secure mobile collaboration and social networking on the BlackBerry platform.  The new BlackBerry clients are respectively called BlackBerry Client for IBM Lotus Quickr and BlackBerry Client for for IBM Lotus Connections .
