Foursquare tweeted yesterday that almost 100,000 users have signed up to the service in the last 10 days. This is really impressive seeing how the company just reported moving beyond half a million 5 or 6 days ago and it took them almost a year to get there. I’ve been using playing Foursquare for exactly one month now, and, although I doubt that I will every use it enough to become mayor of anything. It is a cool little time waster especially if you have a few friends or family members that are playing as well. Foursquare, of course, is available on more than just the BlackBerry. You can find out more about it by visiting http://www.foursquare.com . Foursquare for BlackBerry is a free BlackBerry application and you can pick it up over on BlackBerry App World or download it OTA @ http://www.foursquare.com/blackberry

This is the latest TV ad from Palm . It’s actually pretty good. Unfortunately for Palm, they didn’t launch the Pre with ads like this. Instead of a little Mos Def and a hot young lady walking down the street showing you what webOS can do, the marketing geniuses at Palm decided to freak you out with this spot. We’ve known for a little while now that Craigslist Mobile was coming to the BlackBerry . Well, it is is here, and, you can pick it up on BlackBerry App World for $4.99. I don’t know… Maybe I just don’t get Craigslist as I have only purchased anything off if it once that I can remember. Besides just checking the Craigslist Mobile app out, I don’t know that I would even install it, let alone pay $4.99 for it. That’s just me though, as, I know that there are BlackBerry users who live and breath on Craigslist.

Both the Palm Pixi Plus and the Palm Pre Plus are available on Verizon’s website . The devices will cost you $99.99 and $149.99, respectively, both after a $100 online rebate with a 2-year plan. I personally am very interested to see how these WebOS devices fair on Verizon as compared to Sprint as well as their impact on BlackBerry sales.

Foursquare for BlackBerry is Now Available “What is Foursquare”, you might ask? Well, the best definition that I’ve come across can be found on Pocket-Lint … Foursquare is a free BlackBerry download which you can find at http://foursquare.com/blackberry/beta . At the time of this posting the download link was a bit overwhelmed, however, there appears to be a mirror site with an OTA download at http://bit.ly/4sqleak … If you decide to give Foursquare a go, let, us know what you think via the comments.
